Texas Medical Center: Innovation Program Analyst

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Texas Medical Center (TMC) Innovation Institute is a flagship initiative that acts as a gateway to the facilities, resources, and network of the world’s largest medical center. The Innovation Institute includes TMCx accelerator program, TMCx+ incubator/co-working, TMC Biodesign fellowship program, and our resident corporate partnerships with Johnson & Johnson Innovation and AT&T Connected Health Foundry.

Designed to provide a comprehensive suite of services, the TMC Innovation Institute is both a startup accelerator (TMCx) and incubator (TMCx+) that is equipped to meet the needs of disruptive digital health and medical device startups at every stage, from ideation to commercialization. In addition, the Innovation Institute houses the TMC Biodesign program, an ambitious fellowship program where interdisciplinary teams follow a three-step, proven approach to the innovation process – identify, invent, implement – to develop new digital health and device solutions for unmet needs in healthcare.

By attracting exceptional talent from throughout the medical center community and across the world, we strive to connect our startups and Biodesign fellows with the individuals, resources, and expertise needed to make their innovations and commercial effort a success. The value we provide our companies and Biodesign fellows remains the same: a robust curriculum designed to support early-stage innovations and enterprises, the mentorship of an expansive advisor network, and the ability to cultivate connections with potential partners throughout TMC and beyond.
