Needs Finding: Thoughtful Observation of Clinical Encounters

May 17, 2018 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Workshop Summary
Needs Finding is a crucial starting point for the medical innovation process. It may seem simple to identify a compelling clinical need, but if you get it wrong, you may be wasting valuable time and money. We’ll use actual clinical scenarios, breaking into teams to brainstorm needs and develop needs statements.

Workshops
Acquire marketable skills for the life science industry. This series of workshops hosted by Enventure once a month will provide trainees with the opportunity to gain skills that you won’t learn in the lab. We will be focusing on developing technologies that create value for patients, caregivers, and society using Stanford’s Biodesign medical innovation process.

Topics will include: Idea Viability, Market analysis, IP and Licensing, Building a Business Plan, and more. Series begins May 17. Attendance at each workshop is required for certificate, but the course is available to everyone for free.

Speaker:
Will Clifton, M.D., founder of Enventure.
